34. Lois Marie PAYNTER was born on 18 Mar 1947 in South Hill, Virginia. Lois Paynter is a 1964 graduate of Park View High School. She is a liscenced beautician and currently operates a small day care business from her home.

She was married to Harvey Wayne POWERS (son of Claude Street POWERS and Helen Vaughan ELLER) on 9 Jun 1968 in Ashland, Va. Harvey Wayne POWERS was born on 5 Dec 1945 in Garfield Hospital, Washington, DC. He has reference number 0001. Harvey Wayne Powers graduated from Park View High School in 1964. He received his BA in Political Science from Randolph-Macon College on 02 Jun 1968.
Powers worked most of his adult life in broadcasting. In 1959, at the age of 14, he started with WJWS radio in South Hill. He also worked for WIVE in Ashland and WRVA in Richmond. In television, he was the Richmond news bureau for WDBJ Television. Later he served as Editor, Producer and News Director for WWBT TV in Richmond. He currently is Assistant Vice President for News for WWBT TV.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1971, reaching the rank of Specialist 5. He was posted in Columbia, South Carolina, and Frankfurt and Heidelburg, West Germany. While in Frankfurt, he served with the Armed Forces Radio Network.

Harvey Street POWERS graduated from Clover Hill High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia, in 1988. He attended James Madison University, graduating in 1992 with a BS in Psychology.
In 1993, he joined the Richmond (Virginia) Police Department.

John Thomas POWERS graduated from Clover Hill High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia, in 1990; and Barton College in Wilson, NC, in 1994.
He works as a photographer and computer technician for Dan Beth Communications, a television production company in Wilson, NC.
