FIFTH GENERATION

378. Edward TERRELL was born on 12 Feb 1753 in Louisa County, VA. He died on 8 Jun 1820 in Lynchburg, VA. Like his father and Grandfather, Edward was a Quaker. The record of his marriages and children is given in "Our Quaker Friends," p.42 & 97. There is a James Terrell who might be an additional son. His name is not listed in the Quaker records, so Emma Dicken speculates he might have left the Friends Society or that he might be an adopted son.

He was married to Mary JOHNSON (daughter of James JOHNSON and Lucy MOORMAN) on 17 Mar 1772. Edward TERRELL and Mary JOHNSON had the following children:

He was married to Jane JOHNSON (daughter of Gerard JOHNSON and Judith WATKINS) on 19 Oct 1794. Jane JOHNSON was born on 30 May 1762. She died on 2 Jun 1850. Edward TERRELL and Jane JOHNSON had the following children:

1074 i. Judith TERRELL was born on 28 Aug 1796. She died on 10 Jun 1882.
