EIGHTH GENERATION

53. Lee Woodton RUDD was born on 1 May 1897. He died on 13 Jun 1997 in South Hill, VA. Like his brother Tom, Lee Rudd worked briefly for Goodyear Tire. But -- says brother Tom -- he was "in love" and homesick -- and he returned to South Hill. He worked in the automobile business.
After his retirement, he became interested in building and refinishing furnature, especially Grandfather clocks.

He was married to Alma Pettus HARRIS on 12 Sep 1921. Alma Pettus HARRIS was born on 31 Jan 1900. She died on 7 Sep 1955. Lee Woodton RUDD and Alma Pettus HARRIS had the following children:

+94 iii. Pettus Hart "Pete" RUDD.

He was married to Alice Pearl Binford COOPER on 27 Jan 1956. Alice Pearl Binford COOPER was born on 3 Jul 1907. She died in 1984.
