45. William Abernathy POWERS was born on 26 Sep 1877 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. He died on 16 May 1948. He was buried in Kenbridge Cemetary, Kenbridge, Virginia. William Abernathy POWERS is known as "Willie" Powers. His home was the former home of Doctor Vaughan, whose land was purchased by William Henry Powers.

He was married to Arnette Floyd ELAM (daughter of Eddie Gray ELAM and Sarah FLOYD) in May 1901. Arnette Floyd ELAM was born on 5 May 1881 in Farmville, Va. She died on 13 Dec 1911. William Abernathy POWERS and Arnette Floyd ELAM had the following children:
