THIRD GENERATION

10. William PAYNTER ⁽²⁾ was born about 1620 in Norfolk County, England.
William Paynter was born in England before his parents sailed for Barbados. He is shown on the passenger list along with Robert and Ann.
Like his father, he was a merchant in Barbados.
His will was dated 24 Aug 1666 and was probated on 27 Sep 1666 in Barbados. In it, he leaves "all lands and houses in St. Michael's Town, by the stepping stones"...to his wife Elizabeth.

He was married to Elizabeth NEWSOM on 26 Nov 1655 in Barbados.⁽²⁾ William PAYNTER and Elizabeth NEWSOM had the following children:
