25. John PAYNTER ⁽²⁾ was born about 1792. This John Paynter (born in Sussex County) and his wife Frances are the first Paynters in Warren County, North Carolina. Records show their son, John, born about 1815 was born in Warren County. There probably were other children, but we do not know their names.

He was married to Frances MCCLANNAHAN on 13 Aug 1812. ⁽²⁾ John PAYNTER and Frances MCCLANNAHAN had the following children:
