Fifth Generation 5. Rev. Johann Heinrich HAGER , Jr.1 was born on 26 May 1678 in Siegen, Wittgenstein, Westphalia, Germany.1 He died in 1710 in New York. The history of the family of Johann Heinrich Hager ( "The Descendants of Henry Hager in America, 1710-1982", by William D. Hager, Alexandria, VA 198 2. LDS Ref 929.273 H122hw) shows that he might have been the father of Jonathan and David Hager, founders of Hagerstown, MD. That family history claims that one of his sons settled in Hagerstown, MD. However, it now appears much more likely that Jonathan/David's father was a different Johann Heinrich Hager b 1678, son of Johannes and Guda Schramm. This family is discussed in "History of Schoharie Co, NY", by Roscoe, 188 2, p 249. Rev. Johann Heinrich HAGER , Jr. and Anna Maria JACOBI were married.1 Rev.
