6. Johann Heinrich "Hendrick" HAGER , III1 was born on 1 Sep 1702 in Siegen, Wittgenstein, Westphalia, Germany. He died on 13 Jul 1796 in Blenheim, Schoharie County, NY. His story is told in "The Descendants of Henry Hager in America, 1710-1982 ", by William D. Hager, Alexandria, VA 1982. LDS Ref 929.273 H122h w. He emigrated on Dec 25 1709 at the age of seven for New York, and settled in the Hudson River Valley, Schoharie Co, NY.
The family history claims that one of his brothers settled in Hagerstown, MD (that was probably a half-brother, Jonathan, founder of Hagerstown).

Hendrick (1702) and three of his brothers (incl. Michael and Johannes), accompanied by their uncle Rev. Johan Frederick Heger (and wife Maria), left Rotterdam Dec 25 1709, arriving in New York in Jun 1710.

Johann Heinrich "Hendrick" HAGER , III and Anna Gertraud PETRIE were married in 1732/33. Anna Gertraud PETRIE1 was born on 14 Dec 1715 in Albany, Schoharie County, NY. She died on 3 Nov 1790 in Blenheim, Schoharie County, NY. Johann Heinrich "Hendrick" HAGER , III and Anna Gertraud PETRIE had the following children:
