248 i. Columbus REEVES was born on 5 Jan 1849. He managed to enlist in the Union Army at the age of 14. He joined the 10th Indiana Volunteer Cavalry and was later transfered to the 125th Indiana Volunteer Infantry, where he served till the close of the war.

251 iv. Alice REEVES was born on 11 Feb 1855. Alice spent her early life, after the death of her mother, at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph MccKinley and later Mr. & Mrs. James Ward. After the death of her younger sister, she lived with her brother, Columbus.
