28. Richard Henry Lee BAILEY was born on 25 Jun 1802 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. He died on 3 Oct 1870 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. He was buried in Family Plot, Baily "home place," on Rt.640, Lunenburg. Richard Henry Lee BAILEY was a Justice of the Lunenburg County Court, 1856-1860. His farm is located on State Route 640 North of the Meheran river in Lunenburg County, in the area described in a Regal patent to his grandfather.

He was married to Lucy GEE (daughter of James Street GEE and Nancy GEE) on 19 Dec 1834. Lucy GEE was born on 22 Nov 1807 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. She died on 22 Jul 1882 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. Richard Henry Lee BAILEY and Lucy GEE had the following children:

Sarah Bailey outlived her husband. She lived with her daughter Emma and died at Emma's home in Lunenburg County.

William Henry BAILEY Entered Confederate Army 28 Sep 1863 the age of 18. He served in Company K, 32nd Regiment, Cross' Brigade, Pickett's Division, Longstreet's Corps, Army of Northern Virginia. He surrrendered at Appomattox Court House, 09 Apr 1865. William Henry Bailey is burried in the Family Cemetary behind the old Baily home, 0.7 miles past Salem Church (at 640 & 643) on 640, on Right; Lunenburg County.
+47 vi. Robert Jones BAILEY was born on 2 Dec 1850. He died on 21 Sep 1896.
