listed in the "West and Shirley hundred, Charles cities" on 22 Jan
1694 (Hotten, Original lists of Persons of Quality 1600-1700, p. 205).
By the time his son is born, William Bayley had settled along the James
River in Henrico County. On an early colonial map, entitled "Curles of
the James," his plantation is shown West of Bayley creek on the James River.
Mary UNK was born in England. Mary Bayley arrived
