THIRD GENERATION

11. Belle Lee POWERS was born on 6 Dec 1873 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. She died on 16 Jan 1969. When Belle and Douglas Rudd were married in 1891, William Henry Powers gave them a farm that included a small log cabin. Several rooms were added along with a porch. In the 1920's, the family moved to Chaptico, later to be Milford Rudd's home.

She was married to Douglas Woodton RUDD (son of William Simms RUDD and Amelia Meade INGRAM) on 4 Feb 1890. Douglas Woodton RUDD was born on 24 Mar 1858. He died on 30 Dec 1955 in Lunenburg County, Virginia. Belle Lee POWERS and Douglas Woodton RUDD had the following children:
